The Ford team is replacing an existing narrow bridge to provide a wider pedestrian passageway over the Bark River in downtown Hartland. The new pedestrian bridge construction uses a pre-fabricated steel truss bridge with wood decking. The weathering steel is a special long-lasting steel, which requires no maintenance or painting.
